Careers at IKE

ikeGPS Group Limited (IKE) seeks to be the standard for collecting, managing, and analyzing pole and overhead asset information for electric utilities, communications companies, and their engineering service providers.

We take the needs of our customers very seriously, but not at the expense of having some fun along the way. Naturally, we have a laser-controlled foosball table. We proudly wear ‘Sharks with freakin lasers’ t-shirts – notwithstanding the marketing department’s ongoing concern about upsetting Austin Powers fans. We work hard – but celebrate successes. Everyone at ikeGPS can donate a day of their work time to a cause that they choose each year. We work in important & interesting markets: helping to keep the power on at electric utilities, deploying fiber in telecommunications and helping geospatial users collect better data, more quickly and more safely. And at the end of every day we get to make & sell really cool, industry-leading measurement solutions that our customers love.

We’re fortunate to have assembled some of the world’s best measurement tech minds alongside leading industry experts that support the needs of our customers every day. Please contact us any time if you can help us on the mission.

Why We’re Here

We live in a modern society and enjoy the luxuries that it provides. Cool air conditioning in the summer, heat during the winter, and lights in the dark bring us comfort. Limitless network connectivity, the wonder of cloud computing and a constant stream of data let us be anywhere. Snapchat, Instagram, Evernote, Jira, Amazon, and countless others eliminate the space between us. And our iPhones, iPads, Androids, Kindles, Macs, and PCs let us access all of it. Yet there is a single thread coursing through the marvels of modern society: Power.  Batteries need charging, lights need illuminating, and all your data needs a charge behind it.

At IKE we exist to make it easier for power and data to be provided to everyone. As much as we want it to come out of thin air, there is a whole wild industry that carries it. It all requires a connected fabric that spans the landscape hanging on the backs of repurposed trees and steel monoliths – to most, poles and wires.

About ikeGPS

We are a collective of pole measurement analysts, scientists, field data collectors, and customer advocates. We are on this planet to make a profound change in the lives of those we serve – every human connected through the workflow of pole provisioning projects. Together, we are building the power and communications infrastructure of the future.

Like many companies, we have our values. Yet, we wear them in our own way. They guide us and they personify us. Our values are not something we leave at the office — they are a genuine part of who we are. And well, we think that makes our people exceptional at work and at life.

Working hard to build technology and customer experiences that communicate in a simple and human language.

Starting with every new hire, we have an awareness of ourselves and how we impact each other – we strive to bring out the best in ourselves. This fosters our inventive mindset.

Be Yourself

Great teams do not come about by chance. Great teams – when they are at their best – start first with the foundation of each person on the team understanding their superpower.

Never, ever, give up

Inevitably, when the pace is quickest, the time for opportunity is at its greatest. It makes no sense to quit any race even on the brink of exhaustion.

Our product range

Our integrated field to cloud solutions allow our customers and partners to measure and assess Utility Poles and infrastructure using a unique combination of Laser, GPS, IMU and Photogrammetry technologies, all based on a custom built Android platform and corresponding Cloud service. We combine that with a killer team to create a full solution that delights customers in every way.

Not your average support team…

We are not the kind of company to outsource our support to a team overseas. For us, customer success is paramount. We have built a team of leaders who know this in their bones are ready to help revolutionize each and every customer’s workflow at a moment’s notice.

Our Support Engineers are the face of that team and are responsible for providing technical training and product support for our customers. The ideal candidate will be focused on customer success before anything else. By utilizing a solid analytical skill set, strong communication skills, and proficiency in technical training they will be on the front lines ensuring every customer is successful using IKE.

As the key lifeline between IKE users and the rest of the company, the Support Engineer must be a team player with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, spanning the Engineering and the Utilities teams.
